Yesterday was cleft clinic day. A follow up from Jack's lip repair and discussion of his upcoming palate repair. The good Dr. was very pleased with Jack's lip and the healing that's taken place over the past many weeks! (he liked his glasses too!)
We talked about the next step of repair work and he explained the rather complicated steps involved surgically. Thankfully he drew a diagram for me... I always need that. Plus it gives me something to show Patrick as I try to relay the information.
Our next pre-op visit will be September 5th for a surgery date of September 23rd... yes, on my birthday.
