Glimpse of Summer

Summer seems to have come and gone on a breeze...

School has started again and life has taken on the old familiar routine.  

I don't want to forget the events and fun days of our summer this year.

Dear sweet Levi,
You are 4 years old today, but it seems like just yesterday you were just a tiny baby.  You've grown so much this year and are talking so much!!  We love to listen to you tell us about your lego rockets and hear the songs you sing.  Cars 2 theme songs are your favorite tune to sing while you play with legos or cars.  It's so fun to hear you and watch you leap around the house playing.

This year you became a big brother too!  Although it was hard at first you are learning to include him in your play and talk with him.

We love how you run, swinging that right arm like a soldier!  So cute.  You are in Abby's room now and you have started noticing when she needs help.  You are a great brother!

We love you so much.

Happy 2nd Birthday Levi!

Dear Levi,

One year has turned into two since you came into our lives.  Having you with us brings us so much joy and laughter!  You are such a fun little boy.  

This year you have mastered climbing things, jumping off the couch, pretending to be bat man and lots of other new skills.  You make us laugh when you say "Whoooaaa" while you are swinging or jumping off something!  It makes us smile when you say "Peas" (please) and "Ank You" (thank you).  You melt our hearts when you say "Abu" (love you)!  

You have become such a big boy these past several months.  Getting your hair cut was a big day!  You had such precious curls.  

Daddy loves holding you whenever he can... especially during church when you cry in the nursery.  He's teaching you to have fun in the water this summer, and to swim!  I love watching you play with 'Siah and holding you when you first wake up, even if you are grumpy.   Today you made me smile when you put Abby's rubber bands on top of her head when I stepped away... I knew you were trying to help.  

You are precious to us and we can't imagine not having you in our family!  We belong together, just like the song says in your Birthday video.

Levi's 1st Hair Cut

Today is the day!  Our baby is officially a toddler.   It's surprising how a little hair cut can make a baby into a boy.

So cute!

"Stuck!"

Today during nap time I found this happening along with cries of "stuck!"  Apparently our littlest munchkin thinks he's too big for a crib.
